Heritage Athletic Program

Our fully equipped gymnasium allows students the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of sporting activities, including basketball, volleyball, and track & field. All students have daily P.E. classes, learning athletics skills and concepts including healthy lifestyle choices and physical fitness techniques.

All of our students in grades 6-8 have the opportunity to participate in our after-school sports program, regardless of previous experience. Each season begins with a trial period in which students can try out the sport. Teams compete in various leagues with schools of similar size. Our teams are competitive within these leagues and have won numerous awards and championships over the years, but above all our program emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, and playing for the love of the game.

Throughout the school year in The Heritage athletics program, we offer the following teams at both Junior Varsity and Varsity levels: Volleyball, Basketball, Track & Field.

Each sport has a dedicated coach from The Heritage Preparatory School Athletics staff. Teams typically have practices or games 4-5 days a week with practices held after school and usually taking place in the school’s state-of-the-art gymnasium.
